Process for AWES Selection in 2024
Online Screening Test (OST)
On November 23 and 24, 2024, an online computer-based screening exam will take place. To guarantee that all Army Public Schools have teachers of the same calibre, the exam will be administered centrally and online by a company chosen by HQ AWES. A LIFE-LIMITED SCORE CARD WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WHO APPEAR IN THE EXAMINATION. Going to the interview and having your teaching abilities and computer skills evaluated is now NOT REQUIRED if you passed the online screening test. But, in order to be appointed to a regular or fixed-term teaching position, the applicant must pass the OST, as follows:
- Regular Candidate : within two years of being hired with at least a 50% overall raw score (100 points).
- Fix Term candidate: within a year of being hired with a minimum aggregate raw score of 40% (80 points).
Interview
- As stated in Paragraph 2 above, each school is responsible for announcing any openings through a variety of channels, including local newspapers, the school website, notice boards, etc. Candidates would need to submit applications in response to these announcements/ads. The location of the school may or may not be used for the interviews.

At each of the six Command Head Quarters, the “Chairman, Board of Administration” appoints these boards.
