Process for AWES Selection in 2023
Online Screening Test (OST)
On September 30 and October 1 of 2023, a computer-based online screening test will be administered. To guarantee uniform instructor quality across all Army Public Schools, the test must be administered centrally and online by a company designated by HQ AWES. A score card that is valid for life will be given to those who show up for the examination. The Online Screening Test is no longer required in order to participate in the interview and evaluation of teaching and computer abilities. However, the candidate must successfully complete the OST as per the information provided below in order to be hired as a teacher (regular or fixed term):
- Regular Candidate : within two years of being hired with at least a 50% overall raw score (100 points).
- Fix Term candidate: within a year of being hired with a minimum aggregate raw score of 40% (80 points).
Interview
- As stated in Paragraph 2 above, each school is responsible for announcing any openings through a variety of channels, including local newspapers, the school website, notice boards, etc. Candidates would need to submit applications in response to these announcements/ads. The location of the school may or may not be used for the interviews.
